About Us
The relationship between Purdue and Lilly dates back to the organizations’ founding years. In 2017, the organizations entered a strategic research collaboration. In 2023, Lilly and Purdue expanded the collaboration, signing a new master agreement that extended the work for another five years. In 2025 Lilly announced it would increase previous investments up to $250 million to expand the partnership through “Lilly–Purdue 360,” accelerating innovation in drug discovery, AI-driven research, and scalable manufacturing.

Impact
The Lilly Purdue 360 Initiative is inclusive of talent development, which extends from providing Purdue's students with a range of experiences with Lilly as well as providing opportunities for Lilly to co-develop programs to up-skill their existing talent. Through targeted offerings, Purdue and Lilly strive to retain top talent in Indiana.
